Soothsayers and guest jazz musicians
Soothsayers will entertain and uplift you with a lively jazz fusion and the sound of afrobeat and reggae all blended together. It is genius and they are here at The Effra every 2nd,4th & 5th Tuesday of the month.
Come and listen to the blues lead by Harmonica wizard Errol Linton. The Wednesday beats are an urban sound with rural roots. Some songs get the crowd grooving and then there’s the ska and blues vibe. A good mid-week music boost from our Brixton musician
Brilliant Resident band. Thursday nights have been enjoyed by many people for many years and still we enjoy…. The jazz, ska and reggae fusion is tastefully done leaving us with a feel good factor by the end of the session. The occasional reggae vocals on the night really add to the night. A really good experience to finish off the week and get you ready for the weekend. The Effra Hall on a Thursday is a popular night so come early and grab a seat.
