BAR MANAGER –  Salary Up to £27k

We are a vibrant, friendly, local pub, hidden on the back streets of Brixton. Quality local Ales, Live Jazz Bands, Big TV Screens to host all Football, Rugby and other Sporting events and Home Cooked food are our principal features.


This Traditional Pub is looking for an experienced Bar Manager that wants to join The Effra Hall tavern team on a Part Time or Full Time basis. A great opportunity for someone climbing the ladder in hospitality. It would be ideal if you have experience in a busy venue, with knowledge of quality beers, wines and spirits as you will be responsible for all elements of the bar, floor and cellar. The successful candidate will have a great personality, demonstrate exceptional customer service standards and show a passion for the hospitality industry. The ability to manage and develop people will play a crucial part as you will be in charge of the bar staff team. You will play an active role in taking the venue to the next level of operation by recommending ways to improve efficiencies and increase profitability. You will need to have a flexible approach as you will be working evenings, weekdays and weekends. Competitive salary to be negotiated based on experience, Stocktake bonus and a Staff meal for full time management staff.
